BNP Paribas

BNP Paribas introduced the API Employee Benefits Program in June 2005. We selected the Program because it offered a wide range of benefits to our employees, at a reasonable cost, and with minimal administration needed on our part.

API assisted us with the launch of the Program by running information sessions for staff. The communication of the Program is very good - there are regular updates for staff via Lifestyle Online, special offers, on-site visits, and the Lifestyle magazine. We also provide details of the Program in our new employee orientation sessions.

We receive regular reports from API to confirm that staff are taking advantage of the Program - the reports indicate our staff go into the API website regularly, with the most popular sections being online shopping, homeshopping, travel and entertainment sections.

We have found API to be a very good provider - they are reliable and efficient, and they are responsive to the needs of their clients.

Cuscal

Cuscal is the leading provider of wholesale and transactional banking services to specialist retail financial institutions with 300 employees.

In early 2006, we undertook a review of our employee benefits program and began looking for a provider who could offer a program for our employees that would offer “something for everyone”.

Following a review of various providers, we chose to partner with API because of the broad range of benefits and services they could offer to our employees and their families.

In late 2006, we launched the API program to our employees under the branded program “Your Lifestyle”. The launch day created a lot of interest and we introduced the program through a series of briefing sessions that were run onsite by API.

Since introducing the program, we have worked with API on a number of different promotional activities including an employee benefits expo, onsite sales and various promotions through our internal employee communications channels.

From the comprehensive reporting from API, we can see that our employees use all of the offerings of the program, with the most popular being shopping vouchers, home shopping and the movie/theatre/sport/concert tickets.

Since implementing the API program, we have been excited to see that take up of services continues to grow. We are proud of the success of our program and very appreciative of the ongoing support and commitment from the entire team at API.

In our engagement survey employees made it very clear that they wanted more in terms of personal benefits from their workplace. We researched the market, selected API as our provider and introduced the program in 2007.

The program proved very popular with employees from day one and enthusiasm has not waned since. We now have an on-site shop each month as well as posters, email advertising, special offers and internet access. API provides discounts across a range of lifestyle products and is beneficial for not only our employees but also for their families, with the most popular products being discounted gift cards, movie tickets and cheap travel.

The Reuters brand is on all API communications which shows that this is a company initiative for our employees and something we feel is very important to provide for them. Feedback so far has been fantastic.
